Well, friends, it is time to bid farewell to your soft summer linens because fall is in the air! I have rounded up the most popular trends to arrive this season and we're going to talk about them all. A new month, a new season, and a ton of new trends.

Curved Silhouettes
The design world has been celebrating all-things curvy in 2022--this month is no different. Rising to popularity in the 1970's we have been witnessing a resurrection of all things sloped, curved, and asymmetric. A half a century later these lovely lines have been making some impactful pieces that feature a unique sculptural grace. Consider a curved accent chair, a unique coffee table, or maybe just a unique vase to bring some of this curved goodness into your space.

Earthenware (everything)
A trend I am particularly excited about is earthenware vases, plates, and vessels. October calls for warm, organic earthenware in unique, handcrafted, and unexpected silhouettes. Matte ceramic, stone, and terracotta vases create a stunning base for foraged foliage and faux florals. Use a variety of scales and search for that perfect extra-large earthenware vessel to create the most striking fall display.

Warm Neutrals
Icy greys, stark whites, and other cool neutrals and long gone. Over the past year, there has been an apparent shift of preference to warm neutrals to create crisp and clean spaces. Using comforting neutrals—as well as more earthy shades including taupe, camel, and rust—applied to walls, upholstery, and other furniture can foster a cozy, inviting atmosphere appealing not only to the fall but year round!

Deep Jewel Tones
Jewel tones are here to stay, this timeless trend is always worth mentioning. Dramatic emerald, sapphire, ruby, and citrine partnered with lush velvet or jacquard textiles are a sure way to create an impact in your fall and winter design. Looking to add some drama? Try this trend with velvet drapes, duvets, or accent chairs.

Cottagecore Florals and Prints
It may be fall but we aren't done with florals yet--this cottagecore trend features dainty florals, stamped prints, and organic patterns on woven fabrics. Florals take on a new, moody look for fall with deep, saturated colorways suitable for the season.
